About this Session
Having a growth mindset allows you turn challenges into opportunities for growth. If you've ever been afraid of challenges and believed that your skills are limited to what you know today, a growth mindset will help you explore new possibilities with open arms. This session will help you recognize when you are thinking with a fixed mindset, and coach you through ways to develop a growth mindset.
1) To develop a growth mindset, you need to understand your fixed mindset triggers and call them out.
2) You need to shift your mindset from valuing the result to valuing the process, and you need to praise action over traits
3) Use yet more often, break down challenges into small actions, and be flexible about the learning process.
These questions are meant to coach you through examples from your own life. They will help you think through issues you face. Be true to your feelings and realities when answering them. We will provide you with comments on how to dive deeper in your reflections to maximize the benefits from coaching.
